Historic & Mysterious.. Pittsburgh Shrine Center Announces Rebranding, New Website
Event planners seeking a flexible wedding & special event venue in Greater Pittsburgh will now find a familiar face with a fresh new look.

PITTSBURGH, PA November 29, 2017 --- The Pittsburgh Shrine Center, our region’s premier wedding and special events venue, proudly announces it has undergone a rebranding and has debuted a new website developed to enhance the event planning experience for its clients. Formerly known as the Syria Shrine Center, The Pittsburgh Shrine Center name was chosen as a reflection of the mutual admiration shared between this historical venue and its generations of clients from Western Pennsylvania.

Supported by stunning imagery, the new responsive website at www.pghshrinecenter.com highlights the features and benefits which truly make the Pittsburgh Shrine Center one of Pittsburgh’s most well-known and memorable wedding and special events venues.

The new logo incorporates a distinctive and iconic symbol of the Pittsburgh Shrine Center’s storied history: its magnificent chandelier. The logo aims to capture the attention of visitors online just as our chandelier does for guests in the Pittsburgh Shrine Center Grand Ballroom.

“I think the Pittsburgh Shrine Center is Pittsburgh’s hidden gem. With its rich history, it needs to be showcased,” said Don Green, member of the Pittsburgh Shrine Center board of directors and the Pittsburgh Shriners Divan. “Many of Pittsburgh’s great cultural events have taken place under our historic chandelier. Serving the special events needs of our community and supporting our Shriners Hospitals is what we do. Any bride or groom would be proud to be a part of Pittsburgh history here at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center.”

“I am struck by how beautiful and elegant so many of the events are here,” said Bill Branthoover, member of the Pittsburgh Shrine Center Board of Directors and the Pittsburgh Shriners Divan. “People may not know that we can accommodate events from banquets to business seminars to picnics and more. The outdoor Pavilion is wonderful for concerts. Children’s parties are fantastic because of the room. This rebranding and website surely increases awareness of the facility’s versatility and its availability to the public.”

"Our goal with this effort is to reintroduce the Pittsburgh Shrine Center to new generations of Pittsburghers. Modernizing our digital communication platforms will surely help clients discover the Pittsburgh Shrine Center," said James Elmer, Pittsburgh Shrine Center Public Relations Committee member.
