Inside and out the Pittsburgh Shrine Center is a premier multi-use facility with a rich history of hosting clients and events of distinction. From our glamorous gilded Grand Ballroom, to our picturesque Pavilion situated on bucolic wooded acres, our magical setting enhances every guests’ experience. The Pittsburgh Shrine Center is strategically accessible from the city, yet situated on a sprawling compound absent from the stress of a busy urban setting.

The Pittsburgh Shrine Center Grand Ballroom

The main ballroom is 11,500 square feet with a seating capacity of up to 700. There is unique tiered seating surrounding our sunken wooden dance floor. Our professional stage is 61 ft. x 32 ft., projecting 44 feet from the rear of the stage, with outside access for sets, equipment and crew. There is an adjoining rehearsal room for musicians and performing groups and two private dressing rooms for performing talent to prepare. 

The Pittsburgh Shrine Center Grand Ballroom is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, high-speed cable and wireless internet, cable television, multiple media source projection capabilities that can be shown on a 17x20 ft. rear projection screen onstage. Over 11,500 square feet of space can be divided into 5 different conference and event configurations.

Dining and Guest Services

We offer clients of the Pittsburgh Shrine Center the opportunity to select from several of the finest catering organizations in Pittsburgh. Each provider brings with them their own unique take on delightful event dining. It's a deliciously unenviable task to have to choose, but regardless of whom you select, each of our dining vendors has a reputation for excellence.

Equipment Rental

A full slate of audio visual equipment, podiums, risers, and more are also available onsite for rental in conjunction with your event.

Pittsburgh Shrine Center Picnic Pavilion

The Pittsburgh Shrine Center is also home to a massive picnic Pavilion for outdoor events. With seating for 1,000 people, the Pavilion has something for everyone to enjoy, including a volleyball court, 2 horseshoe pits, and a play center for the children. The Pavilion also includes an equipped light and sound stage that is great for outdoor concerts and performances.

• Full restroom facilities
• State-of-the-art sound system
• Fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel prep tables and ice machine
• Commercial-size refrigerator, freezers, coffee urns, gas stove with double oven
• Two serving windows with steel curtains
• A dual tap beer dispenser
• Available from 9 A.M. to 11 P.M.

In addition to our grand indoor and outdoors spaces, The Pittsburgh Shrine Center also contains several smaller rooms for more modest gatherings. For smaller executive meetings or civic get-togethers, our larger Meeting Room can seat approximately 65, and our mid-size Boardroom can seat approximately 20 people.

The landscape surrounding the Pavilion includes beautifully manicured fields to support outdoor events centered at our Picnic Pavilion. Local sporting clubs and schools regularly make use of our nearly 5 & a half acres of outdoor recreation space. Special features include a volleyball court, children's playground and horseshoe pits.

Parking at The Pittsburgh Shrine Center

Arrival at The Pittsburgh Shrine Center's main entrance is an experience unto itself. Unique to the facility is our stately, covered governor's driveway that guests of any ability truly appreciate. Once guests are deposited at the entrance, visitors to are offered paved parking for 500 vehicles. There are two major entries, ADA-accessible and smoke free.
